Disclosure: IntelliHire is our product. We have included it alongside other tools and kept every competitor fact to what each vendor states on its own website, checked on the dates shown in the sources.
The best AI recruiting software depends on the job you need done: reading applications, running first-round interviews, coordinating schedules or taking notes in interviews your team runs. Compare tools on which of those they actually do, whether they show the reasoning behind a ranking, and whether a person makes the final hiring decision.
The best AI recruiting software for your team depends on the job you need done: reading applications, running first-round interviews, coordinating schedules or taking notes in the interviews your team runs. This comparison starts with how to choose, then profiles seven tools, including our own, using only what each vendor says on its website as of October 2026.
We have not used third-party ratings or claims we could not check. Tools are listed alphabetically, and the order is not a ranking.
Key takeaways
- Start from the job you need done, such as screening, AI interviews, scheduling or interview notes, before comparing features.
- Ask every vendor where a person reviews and can overrule AI outputs before they affect a candidate.
- Four of the seven tools publish at least some prices; HireVue, Humanly and Paradox do not.
- Several tools focus on high-volume frontline hiring; others suit teams hiring professional roles.
How to Choose the Best AI Recruiting Software for Your Team
AI recruiting tools overlap less than their marketing suggests. Some read and rank applications, some run AI interviews, some focus on messaging and scheduling, and some sit in your team's own interviews. Use these criteria to sort AI hiring tools before you book demos.
| Criterion | What to ask |
|---|---|
| Screening | Does it read every application against criteria you set, and can you see why each candidate ranks where they do? |
| AI interviews | Does the AI run interviews itself? By chat, voice or video? Can candidates take them at any hour? |
| Scheduling | Does it book interviews against your team's calendars and keep candidates moving between rounds? |
| Integrations | Which ATS and calendar products are named today? Ask for yours by name. |
| Analytics | Can you see time to hire, funnel conversion and where candidates stall without exporting data? |
| Human oversight | Who makes each decision? Can a person review and overrule every AI output before it affects a candidate? |
| Pricing transparency | Are prices published? What drives cost: users, interviews, roles or add-ons? |
If you hire in New York City, the EU or certain US states, read our overview of AI hiring laws before you shortlist, because notice, audit and record duties can shape which tool fits.

The Tools, One by One
Each profile covers focus, fit and possible gaps. A gap here means fit, not quality: a limit for one team can suit another.
HireVue
Focus. HireVue describes a platform with four parts: Match and Apply, a website chat that guides candidates to suitable roles; an AI Interviewer that runs voice-based screening interviews around the clock; skills and game-based assessments; and video interviewing, where a co-pilot joins live interviews on Zoom or Teams. Its AI Interviewer page says recruiters always make the final call.
Suits larger talent teams. The site covers hourly, early-career, technical and professional hiring, and its pricing page speaks to mid-market and enterprise organizations. May fall short: no prices are published, and a small team hiring a few roles a year may not need the full platform.
Humanly
Focus. Humanly centers on high-volume hiring for hourly and frontline roles. It offers an AI recruiter that engages, screens and schedules candidates around the clock, an AI interviewer that runs structured interviews by chat, voice or video, an AI notetaker, and a talent CRM and ATS. It names integrations including Workday, iCIMS and Greenhouse.
Suits employers hiring frontline staff at scale in industries such as restaurants, retail, healthcare and hospitality. May fall short: no public pricing, and teams hiring a few professional roles may not need a high-volume focus.
IntelliHire
Focus. IntelliHire, our AI recruitment software, runs one flow from job description and rubric to scorecard. It parses every application, ranks candidates against your rubric with the reasoning shown, runs first-round AI voice interviews around the clock and writes scorecards that cite the interview transcript. Depending on your plan, it adds AI-assisted human interviews, interview proctoring, recruitment analytics, and ATS and calendar integrations. AI reads, ranks, interviews and flags; people decide, and no candidate is ever rejected by a machine.
Pricing as of October 27, 2026: a Free plan (7-day trial), Essential at $49/month, Premium at $99/month and Enterprise on custom pricing. See IntelliHire plans and pricing for what each includes.
Suits in-house HR teams, recruitment agencies, high-volume hiring and startups that want screening, interviews and evidence-backed scorecards together, with published entry prices. May fall short: no specific ATS products are named publicly yet, so bring yours to a demo. AI interviews are voice-first, so if video interviews are essential, confirm what is supported. It is also a newer product, so judge it on a demo with one of your own roles.
Manatal
Focus. Manatal describes itself as AI recruitment software and an applicant tracking system, with AI candidate recommendations, profile enrichment from social media platforms, job board integrations including LinkedIn and Indeed, and career pages. Its AI Interviewer runs asynchronous video interviews and returns summaries, recordings and transcripts.
Pricing: Professional at $15 per user per month billed annually ($19 monthly), Enterprise at $35 ($39), Enterprise Plus at $55 ($59) and a Custom plan, with a 14-day free trial. Suits recruitment agencies and HR teams, from startups to larger companies, that want an ATS with AI built in. May fall short: the pricing page lists the AI Interviewer as an add-on, so check its cost separately, and per-user pricing grows with your team.
Metaview
Focus. Metaview calls itself an agentic recruiting platform. It takes notes in your team's interviews and drafts scorecards and follow-ups, and adds sourcing, application review, reports and voice AI screening calls that are recorded, transcribed and scored against your rubric. It says a human always makes the final decision. Named integrations include Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Gem and SmartRecruiters.
Pricing: sourcing plans are published per user per month (Free, Pro at $100 and Max at $300) plus Enterprise; the full platform is on custom pricing. Suits teams whose interviewers run many human interviews, especially on one of the named ATSs. May fall short: published prices cover sourcing only, so full-platform cost needs a conversation.
Paradox
Focus. Paradox offers conversational hiring software built around an AI assistant called Olivia: a conversational ATS for frontline workers and managers, applications over SMS, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, interview scheduling, events and career sites. Its video product covers recorded video screening questions and live video interviews. It lists integrations including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook.
Suits high-volume frontline hiring in retail, restaurants, franchises, healthcare, logistics and manufacturing. May fall short: no public pricing, and we did not find AI-led interviews described on the pages we checked, so ask how Paradox handles first rounds if that is your main need.
Ribbon
Focus. Ribbon describes itself as AI interviews for frontline hiring. Its AI interviewer holds two-way voice conversations that candidates can take at any hour on any phone, in 10 languages, with captions and recordings. It also handles outreach by SMS, WhatsApp and email, flags off-screen activity and unusual response patterns, and lists integrations with more than 60 ATSs, including Greenhouse and Workday.
Pricing: Ribbon states that its Growth plan starts at $499 a month, billed annually; its separate pricing page was unavailable when we re-checked on October 28, 2026. Suits multi-site and industrial employers, care providers and staffing agencies. May fall short: annual billing from $499 a month is a larger commitment for teams that hire occasionally.
Questions to Ask in Every Demo
Show us one of our real roles going from application to shortlist. Where does a person review, change or overrule an AI output? Can any candidate be rejected without a person deciding? Which ATS and calendar products work today, by name? What do candidates see and hear, and how are they told AI is involved? What does the full cost look like at our volume, including add-ons?
Whichever tool you choose, keep the final decision with people and the evidence behind it. An interview scoring rubric keeps that evidence consistent, and the IntelliHire blog has more guides.
Frequently asked questions
What is AI recruiting software?
AI recruiting software uses AI to handle the high-volume parts of hiring, such as reading applications, ranking candidates, running first-round interviews, scheduling and taking interview notes. Good tools leave hiring decisions with people and show the evidence behind each ranking or score, so your team can check it before acting.
Which AI recruiting tools publish their prices?
On October 27, 2026, Manatal, Ribbon and IntelliHire published plan prices on their websites, and Metaview published prices for its sourcing plans. HireVue, Humanly and Paradox did not list prices, so you would need to talk to their teams. Prices and plans change, so check each site before you buy.
Do AI hiring tools make hiring decisions?
They should not make final decisions alone. HireVue and Metaview both say on their sites that people make the final call, and IntelliHire's terms say AI outputs must not be the sole basis for rejecting a candidate. Ask any vendor exactly where a person reviews the AI's output and can overrule it.
Why does an IntelliHire comparison include IntelliHire?
Buyers comparing tools will look at it anyway, and leaving it out would hide our interest rather than disclose it. We say clearly that it is our product, list tools alphabetically, keep competitor facts to their own websites and state IntelliHire's limits, such as no ATS products named publicly yet.
